Time just flutters by...

I have been card making again, Inspired by Lisette Gibbons, her blog is fantastic, chek out the link to Blank canvas. She adds buterflies to lots of her work, and I thought I would use some. I don't have any nice B'fly punches (yet! coveting the Martha Stewart one!) so used my Robo, it took ages! but they are quite cute. Hope you enjoy C x

Dawn McVey challenge

Hi everyone, hope your weekend was good. We had a relaxed one, hubby had been away last week so wanted things to be stress free. Had a lovely breakfast, let him watch MOTD, and then dragged him around town! Nothing exciting tho, bought 2 plugs, a book and a paper shredder LOL, had money to spend, couldn't find anything, typical! Did order some new boots online when I got back, and a new craft robo blade (my life is all excitement, not!) Just wanted to show you the card I made for Dawn McVey's card challenge, (check out her blog link, my favourite things) hope you all like it C x

Shimelle inspired

I really should be doing house work, but hey, this is much more fun! One more layout from yesterday inspired by the fantastic Shimelle, Cx

I had a lovely day scrapping yesterday, did 2 12x12 and 2 81/2x11, this one is of a photo my eldest son took of 3 swans hoovering the bottom of a lake! I think its funny, I wanted to discreetly include a photo of the swan in all its glory without taking up too much space, so I gray scaled it and printed it on the patterned paper I used across the middle of the layout. Both of my boys said they didn't see it on first glance, but were suitably impressed! I used papers from a mini kit from Indigo Mill, and added a few bits of scrap papers I had lying around. Oh, the picture is smaller today, Just trying things out, cul8er x

I just found this pic of my Mothers day card and pressie from Dan on my camera and thought I would share it, 3 days late! What a terrible Mother I am!! He said he made the card to look like it had just been ripped out of a sketch book, cheeky monkey!! the chocolate was yummy x

Daft Doggy

I couldn't resist posting these pic's of our daft doggy, Stella! She was led on my lap looking up at me and she seemed to be smiling, but by the time I got the camera ready she wouldn't perform! any hoo, I think she looks cute.TTFN x

Hero Arts challenge

Hello! Am back to full health (thank goodness!) and thought I'd share my contribution for the Hero arts/cardvaarks challenge. The requirements are to use at least one Hero arts stamp, I used a mini stamp set Sparkle clear coffee with gems, I love this set and find it works for any card giving occasion. I have used Kraft cardstock, American crafts paper and a little bit of pom pom trim. Am loving my stampin'up punches and shaped the corners of the pink paper with my scallop border punch. Anyway, hope you are all enjoying this gorgeous weather! X
