What a week...

It's been a tough one family wise, my cousins little girl, Leah, has been really poorly this week. She was transported from Plymouth to the childrens hospital in Bristol, for speacialist care. We've all been carrying our phones around with us, waiting for news. There have been signs of improvment, but there's still a way to go. I created this to send to them, to let them know they are not alone.

I was fairly creative last week. Jon and Dan were at Soul Survivor having a ball, I on the other hand was quite low, missing them loads, hence no blogging ( didn't want to make everyone miserable!) They're back now and driving me nuts!! Here's a glimpse of christmas ( i know, I'm sad!)

I love this template for the craft robo, I think it was from a link on Shimelles blog.
These were inspired by Amy, at a Stampin' up class I did last saturday.

Well, Jon and Dan are off to Cardiff to see U2 in a bit (V excited) and I'm going to Mum's for chinese! Yum. Will try to be a better blogger xx

Back to reality...

You wait all year for your hols, then it's over in a week!! We had a lovely time on beautiful Dartmoor ( only 2 days sitting in our 12'x30' tin box listening to the rain beating down!) and the surrounding countryside. We visited Looe and Polperro ( although Dan thought the sign said Ploperro!)
These photo's are of Looe taken on the bridge looking in either direction. Was a bit cloudy, but lovely all the same x

We went to Polzeath, so that hubby could live the dream on his body board, and as we were over that way, went to Port Isaac, and they were filming Doc Martin!!

Bert and Al Large!
PC Penhale! Love him!

Auntie Joan!

and the slightly mad Pauline!!

The only characters, noticeable by their absence, where the Doc and Louisa, I did hear a snippet of the script, but I won't spoil series for for anyone!! He he!

We visited other lovely places, but thats another day, bye for now xx

So sick of the rain!!

What is going on with the weather? There can't be much of the wet stuff left! Well what else can I do but sit in my craft room? he he. I've been playing about on Photoshop, there is a great tutorial on Bits and Pieces ( in my blog list). Well here's my effort.

This is a photo of Dan at 7 or 8, at Westonbirt festival of gardens, this was a glass 'Dream ball'.

This is from 2007, at Padstow, I love the movement in this picture, he spent ages just jumping!
Used a great brush too.

off to tea at Ruth's, and I fully expect to be pampered tomorrow, well it is my birthday!!

Busy doing nothing...

So nothing much is happening around here, apart from the usual. This staying at home lark is not all it's cracked up to be, I Hate Housework!! I've been scanning the papers and the internet for work, nothing grabs me yet. So been keeping myself busy between loads of ironing and yogurt making, with my paper crafting. I've actually done quite well this week, not all my creations are worth photographing, but here goes nothing!
This was inspired by Dawn McVey from the Card trends magazine.

Oh, and these were inspired from her blog!

and a couple of Stampin' up ones.

11 july 1992...

Yesterday was our 17th wedding anniversary, I know, I would have got less for murder!! We have had our fair share of difficult times, but also many, many good times. None more than our gorgeous boys, who make it all worth while. We had a lovely meal out, and then spent time with family later. This is in fact 1 of our anniversaries as we renewed our vows 41/2 years ago, i needed a new wedding ring, and Jon proposed again. That was fun! Thought I would leave you with a photo of a young couple crazy in love, amazing how things change!! LOL! Happy sunday x

A typical british summer

I'm sat looking out of my craft room window at the blowing trees and the falling rain, what happened to summer? Well at least Wimbledon was dry this year! Well staying indoors means creative time, so I have made this card for my niece Kerrie, who moved in with her boyfriend last week.
